· You can lose fat from a specific part

It’s the craziest myth about fitness. You can’t spot reduce from a specific part of your body. When you exercise calories are burned from the entire body. It reduces your overall body fat as you can’t tell where the fat comes from, it’s better that you exercise and work on your entire body rather than working on a specific part.

· Women will bulk up if they do weight lifting

Women lack testosterone levels as compared to men. Testosterone in men makes them bulk up when they lift weights. Women, on the other hand, won’t bulk up like men if they do weight lifting so don’t listen to such advice which stops you from weight lifting.

· Activities that are fun don’t count as a workout

Playing sports you love will also help you burn calories and stay fit. Have you tried dancing? Dancing is considered as a core workout, many other sports like football, cricket with your kids or friends can be a great form of workout. So don’t believe someone who says fun activities are not exercises.

· Eat anything but workout

Many people believe that if you exercise or workout, you can eat anything and stay healthy, which is not true. To stay healthy and fit you must exercise bit you must also eat healthily. In fact, eating healthy has more and faster impact on your body than exercise.

· Exercising more gives the best results

Exercising more doesn’t give you better results instead, you might end up in a hospital. It is important that you exercise as much as required and as much as your body can handle. Vigorous exercise with high intensity can increase your heart rate causing many harmful effects on your body and might even be fatal.
