But even if you choose to write in a diary it’s perfectly fine, also it helps you to remember things when you have written them.

· Create a daily task list

To create a weekly list you must first create a to-do list for each day of the week. Write down all the tasks that need to be done on that particular day. Check your emails and messages if required just to check if you have any appointments in the following week. And draw your list accordingly.

· Estimate the time for each task

Based on your past experience, you must estimate the time period required for each task and accordingly allot time for the tasks. It’s important to allot time so you have an the exact idea of how many tasks you can complete in a day.

· Organise your tasks

Start with the most important tasks first and then the not so important tasks. If a specific task is difficult or you find it overwhelming, divide the task into small parts and allot time to each of those parts.

· Filter your list

Once you have prepared your list make sure to filter it and find out not so important task. See whether you can eliminate those tasks or delegate them or whether they can wait. Take them off your list and make a separate list of such task if they are to be delegated or postponed.
