Indo Chinese chicken recipe, Dragon chicken is quite popular and can be made within 30 minutes. It is a starter dish usually served with fried chicken. In this recipe, the chicken breast strips are marinated and deep fried and then are tossed in various sauces and veggies.


1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin long strips.

2. Marinate the chicken strips with ginger garlic paste, black pepper, salt, egg, vinegar and soy sauce. Cover it and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

3. Sprinkle all-purpose powder and cornflour and mix it well.

4. Now heat the oil in a deep bottom pan and set the flame on medium heat.

5. Once the oil is hot enough, fry the marinated chicken pieces. Flip and fry till they turn crisp and golden brown.

Ensure to not overcrowd the pan while frying. Fry the chicken pieces into various batches.

6. Do not over-fry the chicken pieces as they may feel chewy or rubbery while eating.

7. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and set the flame on high.

8. Now add cashews, dried red chillies and garlic and saute it for 30 seconds. Avoid the cashews from burning.

9. Add spring onion whites, green, red and yellow capsicum and let it saute for 3 to 4 minutes.

10. Pour some soy sauce, tomato & chili sauce and cook it for a minute.

11. Add some tbsp of water, black pepper powder, sugar and salt as per taste and blend it well.

12. Toss the fried chicken well in the sauces.

13. Sprinkle it with spring onion greens and vinegar and turn off the flame.

Serve the dragon chicken hot.
