As humans, we all face failure at some point in our life. Not everyone becomes successful in a single attempt. Failure is part of the fact that life is difficult and nothing is achieved without hard work. Even so, at times life has different plans for us, and even long hard perseverance is not able to give us success. Yet, that still doesn’t mean we have to give it all up and sulk in sadness. Such failures are important for us to grow and be prepared for anything worse life has to offer.

Firstly, is it important that you acknowledge yourself! You should realize that you worked hard, you did everything you could and the only thing to do after losing is to try even better. Remember, you are your competition. Each day, try to be a better version of yourself. Do the following things: –

  1. Don’t beat yourself up. Go easy on yourself, appreciate yourself.
  2. You are not the only failure. Even the exemplary NASA had few failed missions in exploring space.
  3. Allow yourself to be in sadness. We are only humans after all. Acknowledge your feelings and respect yourself.
  4. Most importantly, gain experience from your mistakes. Learn from your failure and use it in your next attempt.
  5. Remember that you tried. Many people don’t reach this far or they don’t even bother to attempt what you did.
  6. You have now experienced failure. You know how bad it makes you feel. Allow this feeling to motivate you to not fail again.
  7. Your fear of failure will end since you know how it feels. You will understand that everyone faces failure and this will take away all the nervousness you have in your next try

Life is what we make it. If we accept defeat and lose all the hope in trying to win, you have no purpose in your life. Be angry that you lost, and let that anger drive you to try harder. Try not to make any harsh decisions and believe in yourself. Have faith that you can complete the task or achieve success next time with a little more perseverance.
