Indian drama “Baghban,” in which Big B starred and was released in 2003, was helmed by Ravi Chopra. It gained a lot of notoriety since it highlighted the societal problem of children abusing their elderly parents. The story of Raj (Amitabh Bachchan) and Pooja (Hema Malini), an older couple who sacrificed and provided for all of their four kids’ needs, is told in the film. When Raj first meets his sons after retiring, they are vindictive and treat him and his wife badly. There are multiple reasons why this movie is beloved and has made many people smile, despite the fact that it centers on elderly mistreatment.

1. Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini did a fantastic job in their respective parts. The closeness they enjoyed and how it deepened significantly was apparent when they were forced to part ways by their self-centered offspring after their retirement. It caused many fans to feel emotion.

2. Amitabh Bachchan’s performance of the sentimental ballad “Main yaha tu waha” for his on-screen wife Hema Malini over the phone was a touching moment.

3. Salman Khan’s brief appearance in the film helped to convey a good message to the audience. He was adopted by the on-screen couple, and despite the fact that they weren’t biological relatives, he treated them with love and respect. It demonstrates how your blood could turn on you and how the person you protected would become your true blood.

4. Without Amitabh Bachchan’s well-known tunes, Holi is always dull. After his “Rang barse” from Silsila, he offered us the song “Holi khele Raghuveera” through Baghban to increase our enjoyment during Holi (1981).
