The best Indian badminton player PV Sindhu has become an inspiring figure to the Indian, especially the women population.

In the final, Carolina Marin of Spain was across PV Sindhu in the finals. Sindhu wanted the precious gold medal around her neck. She played with all her will and secured an Olympic silver medal.

2. Greatness in Glasgow: World Badminton Championships 2017 Final

The match held in the Emirates Arena in Glasgow was an epic encounter of 110 minutes where both the shuttlers in the court struggled to stand during the final point. Both PV Sindhu and her opponent Nozomi Okuhara received a salute from the world and their match was considered as one of the greatest matches in the history of the game, as per Olympics reports.

According to PV Sindhu, this was one of the most mentally and physically tiring matches and both she and her opponent played really hard as each point was important for both.

3. PV Sindhu’s Turning Point: China Masters Super Series 2012 Quarter-Final

Sindhu’s this match was against the new Olympic champion, Li Xuerui of China and many believed that the Indian player would probably wilt under the pressure and concede the match.
