The nature of this glamourous world is such that all celebrities have to maintain their body weight and fitness. They take the utmost care of their fitness and often change their diet and exercise routine depending on the role they would be playing in their movie. However, here are some tips and pieces of advice they shared in some of their interviews.

1. Kareena Kapoor-

‘Dedicate at least one hour to exercise each day’

‘Eat the right food at the right time’

3. Diana Penty-

‘I don’t spend more than 45 minutes in the gym and use very light weights with three sets of 15 repetitions for each exercise’

4. Mallika Sherawat-

‘I am a vegan, which means no dairy, no eggs, no chicken, no meat but lots of fruits, vegetables and green juices’ she also takes part in kickboxing that helps her get that perfectly toned body and curves.

5. Nargis Fakhri-

‘Move your butt, walk 10,000 steps, drink 2-3 litres of water every day and eat more veggies.’ She followed a six-day juice diet and is known to have lost six kilos.

6. Akshay Kumar-

He indulges in activities like Parkour, functional training or martial arts.According to him, It is more important to eat right and exercise regularly rather than making body and abs. He follows a strict routine, doesn’t drink or party and suggests that your last meal of the day should be around 6:30-7 pm.

7. Shilpa Shetty-

In an interview, she suggested that new moms should exercise at least an hour for 4 to 5 days in a week and eat right to get back in shape. Besides yoga, she devotes some time to strength training and cardio for a day or two in a week. She is a yoga enthusiast and also practices meditation.

8. Alia Bhatt-

‘My only mantra is to eat healthily and properly. The most important is to feed yourself right kind of nutrition, right rest and you have to feel internally happy.’

9. Hrithik Roshan-

While working under Kris Gethin, his diet mainly consisted of 100 grams of meat and some fibrous carbs like broccoli, sprouts and spinach, a cup of rice or pasta and protein powder and eggs. He also incorporated a lot of cross-fit and weight training in his regime. He lost almost 10 kilos in 10 weeks!
