Life is full of unexpected twists and turns. You’ll never know for sure what your future will hold. You never know where you’ll wind up or what you’ll achieve in the next few years. You never know who you’ll meet, what you’ll encounter, or how you’ll feel. Happiness abounds throughout life. Strangers assisting strangers through difficult times, friends sharing happy and unforgettable moments, and individuals working together all across the world to make life better one step at a time.

Sadness is a part of life. You will suffer and die for the people you love. Your pals may forget about you. A lot of things won’t go your way. You could lose all of your money, or your reputation could be ruined. Victims will be manipulated, tortured, and starved to death for nefarious reasons. Humans will always live in a state of flux. It’s impossible to have everything our way all of the time. We can’t be good unless we understand what’s bad. We can’t be generous unless we understand what it’s like to be self-centred.

We cannot completely appreciate life until we are aware of our impending mortality. We will learn to enjoy every day a little bit more if we assume we will only be here once and will never be able to have all of these diverse experiences, no matter how good or horrible they are.

We live our lives as if we know when we’ll die. We have a rough estimate of our life expectancy and anticipate that everything will be good till we turn 80 and pass away peacefully. There’s no way to know for sure whether or not you’ll live that life.

You’ll be glad for the following day if you approach each day as if it were your last. You’ll realise that you’re fortunate to be alive and that you’ve been granted another chance to enjoy everything life has to offer.

You won’t waste your time and will focus on the things that matter most to you. Because your life could end at any moment, you have no time to squander.
