Orange Margarita

Ingredient

coarse salt

2 orange wedges

3 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice

3 ounces tequila

1 ½ ounces orange-flavored liqueur

crushed ice

Step 1

2 martini glasses, chilled in a shallow dish, sprinkle 1 tablespoon of coarse salt. To wet the rims of the cold glasses, cut a slit into one of the orange wedges and wipe it around the rim. Roll the edges of the glasses in the salt to make a salt rim, then place the glasses in the freezer while you make the margaritas.

Step 2

Shake the orange juice, tequila, and orange liqueur in a cocktail shaker. Fill cold martini glasses halfway with crushed ice and fill with margaritas. Serve garnished with orange wedges.
