The US exploded an atomic bomb on Hiroshima the city in Japan on 6 August 1945, and three days later, on 9 August, they exploded one more bomb on the city of Nagasaki, which took the lives of thousands of people and affected several others who would experience the consequences of the radiation caused from the blast.

Let’s have a look at how the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki rose back after the atomic bombing.

1.The electricity came back in the Ujina region on August 7 and throughout Hiroshima railway station a day after.

2.The light was rehabilitated to 30% of residences that had escaped from fire destruction, and to other remaining homes by the November end in 1945, as per the records maintained by the Peace Institute of Hiroshima.

3.Water systems were renovated and began to work again after four days.

4.The main telephone office was demolished and all of its workers were killed but still important devices were retained and repaired.

5.Many employees of the finance bureau at the Hiroshima department of the Bank of Japan died, still, the bank opened two days later, lending floor space to 11 other banks which had been destroyed.

6.Some of the streetcar service began again on August 9, on the same day Nagasaki was exploded by a plutonium bomb which killed more than 70,000 people, because of this they needed to shift people and stocks into the city was growing more serious by the hour.

7. The Ujina railway began again on August 7.

8.A day after, trains on the Sanyo Line began running the small distance between stations of Hiroshima and Yokogawa.

9.Hiroshima obtained a lot of help from residents in neighboring towns like Fuchu, Kure, and Yamaguchi.

10.Several people throughout the whole of Japan went to the devastated regions and helped the victims.

11.These cities have now been reborn as a city of prosperity and peace.

12.Now Hiroshima is a successful manufacturing center with a population above 1.1 million.
