Cold weather is most people’s favorite time. Winter weather, lots of clothing, and a warm sun are all quite pleasant and relaxing. Our hair, on the other hand, is not really the same. Our hair becomes extremely brittle, harsh, and uncontrollable throughout the winter months. Our ordinary rinse and styling regimen isn’t adequate; you need a particular winter hair treatment practice to keep our natural hair soft and appealing.

Here are some dos and don’ts from Javed Habib for your hair this winter.

Dos

1. Mustard oil as a preconditioning agent works wonderfully.

Each day, rub Mustard oil on your hair for 10 minutes before shampooing. This product is suitable for all hair varieties and conditions.

2. The use of a yogurt mask to treat scalp problems is really beneficial.

Combine equivalent amounts of pure yogurt and oil (any brand of your choosing) to produce a smooth consistency. For 5-7 minutes, firmly rub this paste into your scalp and hair follicles. Use whatever regular shampoo you use to clean your hair.

3. There are five oils that are specifically designed for hair that is severely dry.

Oils of olive, coconut, almond, castor, and vitamin E take equal portions of each ingredient, combine thoroughly, and put on to hair for 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing.

Don’t

4. Water that is extremely hot

Washing your hair with hot water should be avoided at all costs. If necessary, use tepid water. This will keep your hair from drying out.

5. Keep hot style to a minimum.

Heated hair products dry your hair and make it more susceptible to breakage, which is particularly troublesome in the cold when hair is more fragile. Make an effort to utilize them less frequently.

6. Wet hair in the open environment

Wet hair may become overly dry and begin to split up when exposed to cold air; thus, it is best to dry it thoroughly before heading out.
