Do you skip specific types of clothing because your armpit is dark? If you answered “ yes ” to that query, you’ve come to the correct spot. Your dark armpits could be caused by a variety of factors, namely chemical discomfort from antiperspirants and personal care products, or perhaps even smoker’s melanosis.

So, if you’re planning on wearing those flowery, strapless dresses this summer, you’re in luck. We’ve concocted the ideal formula to help you reduce your underarms with widely available goods.

1. Baking Soda and Lemon

Baking soda is a fantastic exfoliate that helps to cleanse pores and brighten darkened underarms. Lemon, on the other side, is a powerful whitening ingredient as well as a strong antibacterial. To make a thick paste, combine 1 tbsp. baking soda and 1 tbsp. lemon juice. Rub it for about 2 – 3 minutes on your underarms, and then rinse it out with tepid water.

2. Sugar and Olive Oil

In a mixing dish, combine 2 tbsp. olive oil and 2 teaspoons sugar. Rub the concoction into the armpit region for a little while, and then keep it on for another 6-10 minutes before rinsing with water. Sugar is a great exfoliator, and when combined with moisturizing olive oil, it may do wonders.

3. Cucumbers

Cucumbers include a variety of nutrients and minerals. Gently wipe a couple cucumber pieces on your dark underarm for a little while, then let the liquid on your body for yet another 10 minutes before rinsing off.

4. Potato

Potatoes are well-known for their ability to reduce eye bags, but they can also help with hyperpigmentation and discoloration in the armpits. All you have to do is shred a potato, press out the liquid, and massage it straight to the armpits for 10-20 minutes before rinsing it off.

5. Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe Vera, also regarded as the natural sunblock, calms sensitive skin and brightens the pigmented underarm because of its antimicrobial properties. Basically cut open a clean plant and squeeze out some aloe Vera. Spread a coating of this gel to your armpits and wait 10- 20 minutes for it to settle. Rinse well with water.
