Pork Tenderloin Diablo

This pork recipe is fantastic. With pork, mustard is a classic, but when you add the added zing of horseradish and cayenne, then smooth it out with some cream and butter, it’s devilishly good.

Ingredients

1 (1 pound) whole pork tenderloin

salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

2 teaspoons vegetable oil

½ cup chicken broth

2 tablespoons heavy cream

1 tablespoon extra-hot prepared horseradish

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 tablespoon cold butter

1 teaspoon chopped fresh chives

Steps To Prepare

1st step

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees C). Pork should be seasoned with salt and pepper.

2nd Step

In an ovenproof skillet, heat the oil over high heat. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes on one side until golden. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and flip the pork. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the pork is browned and slightly pink in the centre. At least 145 degrees F should be read on an instant-read thermometer put into the centre (63 degrees C). Place the meat on a platter.

Pork Fried Rice

Ingredient

1 tablespoon butter

1 (6 ounce) boneless pork loin chop, cut into small pieces

¼ cup chopped carrot

¼ cup chopped broccoli

1 green onion, chopped

1 egg, beaten

1 cup cold cooked rice

¼ cup frozen peas

1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce

⅛ teaspoon garlic powder

⅛ teaspoon ground ginger

Steps To Cook

1st step

In a large nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium heat. In melted butter, sauté and stir pork, carrot, broccoli, peas, and green onion until meat is cooked through, about 7 to 10 minutes. Return the skillet to medium heat after removing the pork mixture to a bowl.

2nd Step

In a skillet, scramble the egg until it is totally set. Return to the skillet with the pork mixture. Cook and stir the rice, peas, soy sauce, garlic powder, and crushed ginger into the pork mixture for 7 to 10 minutes, or until heated through.
