Tantrums should not be heeded.
Harsh behavior from parents is another way to get attention if you think it’s an unneeded cry for it. It is not advisable to scold or shout since it draws attention to inappropriate behavior.
Give cautions
Children who are suddenly restricted or disciplined may not respond well or may even become hostile and rebellious. It may be more useful to use “when-then” clauses. For instance, you can play after doing your assignment, which lessens the power struggle.
Encouraging behavior
Parents must positively reinforce their children’s acceptable behavior. Children are not taught what to do by yelling; instead, it teaches them what not to do. So it’s equally important to recognize positive behavior.
Offering options
Children who are subjected to restrictions without good cause may become disobedient or argumentative. Giving the kids the choice to “either tidy your room or not watch TV tonight”
Scheduling
Children’s needs are just as essential as adults’, thus a child’s daily schedule should include things they find fascinating and wish to do in their leisure time. This tactic can aid in minimizing general disputes between children’s and parents’ wishes and desires.
Compromise
Some requirements and wants can be bargained, even though they may be specifically agreed upon. Maintaining healthy relationships between parents and children can be achieved by finding a medium ground.
