Being ghosted is bad enough, but not knowing whether you’re being ghosted is even worse. So, what are the telltale indicators that you’re being followed?

1. You’re always the one who texts first.

Maybe you used to converse incessantly, but there’s a reason you’re always the one to reach out first now. Even if they answer, they might not be ready to completely disappear just yet. When someone wants to talk to you, however, they will reach out to you.

2. Their responses are succinct.

If they barely respond, they’re about to disappear. They might even think that if you slowly pull away, you’ll get the idea and cease reaching out to them.

3. The cuteness wears off.

We are sure the sparks ignited when you initially started talking. You were constantly joking around. They will lose interest if the fun chats stop and you are left with the boring stuff.

4. Conversations have no conclusion.

Remember how he would say goodbye or attempt to remain awake so he could talk to you? Or when you’d get a text saying, “Good morning, beautiful”? Well, he’ll cease putting out that effort before he ghosts you. Conversations will end, but not in the traditional sense. They will perish because he refuses to address queries or respond regularly.

5. He’s already ghosted you.

If he previously ghosted you and then returned to see if you were still available, he will most likely do so again if you give him another chance. I’m sorry to be the one to tell you that men rarely recognize their mistakes and make amends. What happened was most likely that he was dumped or ghosted by someone else and wanted to check whether you were still interested to boost his damaged ego. He may have gone missing for days before responding when you contacted him, causing you to forget about it, but that was only his first try.
