Mukesh Ambani is the richest man in India and has inspired everyone with his success story. Reliance Industries was founded by Dhirubhai Ambani in the year 1957 initially supplied textile yarns. Eventually, Reliance entered the textile manufacturing business and set up its first textile factory in the year 1966. Reliance industries have extended their business in various sectors today including refining, oil and gas, retail industry, media, petrochemicals, and even the telecom industry. The business was handled and managed by both the brothers Anil and Mukesh Ambani. However, in the year 2005, the industries were split where the oil and gas industry was taken over by Mukesh Ambani while Anil Ambani took over infrastructure, finance, and telecom industry.

Mukesh Ambani has done his Bachelors in Chemical Engineering in Mumbai. He was also pursuing an MBA from Stanford University but decided to drop out to help his father in running the family business. And ever since he entered the business Reliance industry’s profits.

He further achieved another notable achievement in the telecom industry with the introduction of Jio sparked price wars in the Telecom industry by providing 4g network at a reasonable price.

Mukesh Ambani has taken the company to a new high with his business ethics. According to Investopedia reports, Reliance saw its profits at a peak during Mukesh Ambani’s period. As of 2021, Mukesh Ambani’s net worth is 8,070 crores USD. Mukesh Ambani has been the richest man in India for 14 years now and as of 2021, ranks 5th in the world.
