Amitabh Bachchan, a young, tall, and slender guy who rose to become the millennium’s biggest star, faced a lot of physical and financial hardships that would shatter anyone. The tale of Amitabh Bachchan, who rose from nothing to become Bollywood’s biggest hero, is very inspiring not only for those who want to try their luck in movies but for anyone who is struggling and wants to achieve something great in life.

Amitabh Bachchan, who is known for his tall stature and deep voice, was rejected several times because of these two characteristics. When he auditioned for a radio jockey, he was rejected by AIR (All India Radio) due to his long height, as tall actors were not accepted at the time.

He was broke and intended to resign, but shortly after, he received his first break in Bollywood with the film Saat Hindustani, for which he also received a National Award. Following the success of this film, he struggled for two years to land a role in Anand and Zanjeer, which drastically changed his life.

Nobody said life would be easy. Big B encountered an accident on the sets of Coolie, which caused everyone to believe that Amitabh Bachchan’s career was over. But he is a natural survivor, as he recovered quickly and returned to work in the movies. However, as a result of the accident, he contracted a disease that makes people feel low and weak, and he is still fighting it. Since then, he has become known as the Shahenshah of Bollywood.

This, however, was not the end of his struggles, as, at the age of 58, he experienced another setback in his career. His films were flops in the early 2000s, and he was going through a financial crisis in which he lost the majority of his revenues. He couldn’t go to the movies anymore, and his finances were depleted.

He also got a call to host “Kaun Banega Crorepati,” but his wife Jaya Bachchan believed it would be inappropriate for a silver screen superstar like Amitabh Bachchan to headline a TV show. “Beggars can’t be choosers,” Amitabh Bachchan said in response.

“Bad luck can either ruin you or show the person you are,” Amitabh Bachchan said this about bad luck. He was able to overcome all of the rejections and achieve great success as a result of his hard work and dedication to his objective.
