India uses the Para Special Forces to complete challenging and covert missions. They are a group of professionally trained units that conduct covert operations inside the territory of the enemy. The Indian Army’s 9 Special Forces battalions are well-trained and equipped. A considerable amount of training is not necessary to become a commando. Instead, the soldiers must go through some of the most difficult and demanding military training in India to become a Para SF commando. The lethal 36-hour Para SF stress test is required of the commandos. With a war load of 30 kg and additional personal weapons weighing 40 kg, it begins with a 10 km pace march.

They are put through extensive physical and mental testing throughout the course of the 36 hours of training. The probationers’ stress tolerance is also tested. In addition to not getting any sleep throughout those 36 hours, the soldiers are also not given any food or water. It is absolute pain in the mind and body. They are forced to go through a number of gory drills in a heightened combat environment. There are various rounds throughout the training. The soldiers are required to carry two jerry cans each holding 20 liters for the first round. Second, they must be able to support truck tyres weighing 60 to 85 kg. A log of wood weighing 30 kg to 85 kg was used in the previous round. Additionally, these commandos must jump into a 12-foot-deep swimming tank while their hands and legs are restrained. Whether it be endurance tests or combat training, the training pushes the men to the limit.
