IBS(Irritable bowel syndrome), Endometriosis(when tissue in the uterus grows outside of it), surgery.

Getting a Diagnosis

Your doctor will inquire you about any diseases or damages that may have lead to the pain. Your doctor will also ask other questions to understand more about the type of pain you suffer and how long you’ve had it. Your doctor will give you therapy related to the type of pain you have.

You may receive one or more of the following treatments

1. Physical therapy, comprising heat or cold therapy on the area that hurts, massage, stretching exercises, and TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation)

2. Occupational therapy

3. Relaxation methods such as deep breathing or meditation

4. Biofeedback

5. Spinal cord stimulation

6. Pain medications such as NSAIDs, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, and muscle relaxants.

7. If the pain is severe your doctor may advise you a surgery to treat the condition that caused the pain.
