After their Diwali excess, individuals strive to resume their wellness routines with newfound vigor at this time. In order to lose all the extra weight that accumulated over the course of Diwali week, it is essential to include some detox drinks in your daily diet. These drinks will not only help you deal with the extra weight but will also help you eliminate any acidity, bloating, and indigestion problems you may have experienced.

In a recent Instagram post, Ayurveda specialist Dr. Dixa Bhavsar provided three simple DIY Ayurvedic beverages to enjoy after celebrations in order to avoid bloating, acidity, and abdominal heaviness, and to shed any extra pounds you may have gained over the Diwali holiday.

1. Tea made with leaves of coriander and curry
Take two 500 ml glasses of water, add one tablespoon of coriander, one-half tablespoon of fennel seeds, ten curry leaves, five mint leaves, and one inch of chopped ginger, and bring to a boil over medium heat for seven to ten minutes. Finally, stretch it. Every day in the morning, add half a lemon and sip it.

2. Buttermilk
All you need to do is combine 1/4 cup of curd with 1 cup of water. Then use a blender or churner to thoroughly mix it. Buttermilk is ready when the froth that has collected on top is removed. Your really wonderful and digestion-improving beverage is ready when you add the spice mixture (cumin, pepper, salt, Hing, etc.). Every day, you can drink half a cup of buttermilk with or after lunch.

3. CCFEa tea
Pour one glass of water with one tsp of each of the following: cumin, coriander, and fennel (you may add a pinch of turmeric in it for an extra detox effect as turmeric is good for skin too along with the gut). Then drain it and drink it slowly after boiling the herbs for 5-7 minutes.
