Bucket list includes the list of things you want to do before you die. If you want to achieve any goals, you have to first set the goals and then get into motion. However, while doing so if you feel lost or empty, that’s because you can’t add happiness to your bucket list.
You can’t just pass through random activities and achievements, instead you have to step back and look at the overall picture of who you want to be, what you want and how you want to live your life.
When you look at external sources for happiness and fulfilment, it will only give you fleeting joy. It is not bad to have goals but you shouldn’t depend on the goals to be happy. You need to make yourself realise that you are worthy of everything.
Even if goals and dreams are an important and positive part of life, they should be given secondary priority because your first priority should be to be you.
You should be able to connect with your life and fall in love with who you are. You should learn to grow in your own self. Giving and forgiving everyone around you should be a part of your life. When you fall while achieving the greater version of yourself, you should pick yourself back up and try again.
Letting go of external goals and focusing more on self-worth, self-love and nurturing yourself, you’d be able to achieve external success more naturally. Love and embrace yourself!
