Sometimes, people wish there were more hours in the day. Unfortunately, we can’t control time but what we can control is our productivity.

Here are some ways to be more productive throughout the day

Make a to-do list for each day.

Make a daily list of realistic things to complete on a daily basis. Also, keep things simple. Your projects don’t have to be big undertakings that take hours to accomplish. Include folding your laundry on your to-do list. Do you need to make a doctor’s appointment? It should be included.

Start with the most difficult chores.

It’s wise to tackle the most difficult jobs first. After you’ve gotten that major chunk of difficulty out of the way, the rest of the day is yours to do whatever you want. You’ll not only feel better, but you’ll also be more productive.

Remove everything from your desk.

“Out of sight, out of mind,” as the phrase goes. That is also true when it comes to remaining focused. Taking 15 minutes each day before work to clean up your desk and establish a distraction-free environment will help you focus and prevent distractions. What you don’t need goes in the trash, and what you do needs to be filed.

Exercise first thing in the morning.

Do some morning yoga or go for a brisk jog.

Create a system.

Having an organisation structure in place will provide you a clear and consistent picture of the projects you’re working on. This commitment inventory will provide clarity, focus, and control. It will assist you in determining what is most important.

Concentrate on a single task at a time.

Concentrate on completing one project before moving on to the next. People often believe that multitasking allows them to do more, however switching back and forth between tasks is ineffective.
