Memories never fade, they tend to stay with us. Whether they are positive memories or negative memories. Sometimes when we bring the negative memories in our mind we are inclined to feel low. Our mind is always filled with thoughts and concerns of future. And in that process, we forget and ignore what’s going on in the present.

Your past and future retain no reality, your only truth is the present. As you concentrate on the past or future, your present minute becomes stolen. The better you focus on the present, the better active and aware you become.

Anxiety, tension, and trouble come from too much emphasis on the future. Sorrow, grief, and regret come from too much emphasis on the past. When your priority is on the present, you rid yourself of these negative feelings.

We shouldn’t let the memories of the past haunt us. We must focus on our self-development. We must consider our past mistakes as a lesson for the future.

If we tend to frequent ourselves more into the past, then we can incline ourselves to the point that we spoil our present as well as future. So it’s necessary that we keep past to the past but learn a good lesson and not repeat the same. Instead, follow a new pattern of self-growth.

We keep on thinking about the past or the negative impacts that our past has had upon us. We tend to become “too conscious” and overthink about that particular consequence to not repeat in the present. We are human beings we aren’t perfect, imperfection is what makes us “complete”. So instead of mourning over the past and questioning our self-worth, we must believe in ourselves in the present and move on with great confidence and will.
