It is a frequent fallacy, however, that belief in God is required to have a calm existence. There are various ways for atheists to maintain their calm and peace of mind:

Meditation: Atheists can engage in meditation, a method for calming the mind and gaining inner peace. Meditation is not religious in nature and may be practiced by anybody. It has been shown in studies to alleviate stress, anxiety, and depression.

Mindfulness is the discipline of being fully present in the present moment, without judgment. It entails focusing on the current moment rather than worrying about the future or lingering on the past. This can help atheists maintain their cool.

Exercise is an excellent strategy to alleviate stress and promote mental health. Atheists can engage in whatever physical exercise they like, including jogging, cycling, swimming, and yoga.

Social Support: Having a solid support system of friends and family can assist atheists in dealing with life’s hardships. It is critical to surround oneself with good individuals who give encouragement and support.

Pursuing Interests: Hobbies and interests may bring a sense of purpose and fulfillment. It may also be used to provide a beneficial diversion from bad thoughts or emotions.

Acceptance: Recognizing that life has ups and downs and that there are situations over which one has no control might help atheists achieve peace of mind. Accepting does not imply giving up, but rather admitting reality and devising coping strategies.
