Arguments in relationships should not be more prevalent than normal chats. Communication is essential in a healthy relationship, and if you can’t talk about things, even good things, without causing a squabble, you’ve got issues.
If you don’t sort through the intricacies of the last dispute, you’ll probably bring them into the next one, and the next one will be right on its tail. Relationship conflicts must be resolved; otherwise, they are not a healthy tool for problem solving.
It’s far too much if you’re bickering every day. I know I stated there is no such thing as a proper or wrong amount, but every single day is too far. When are you going to have some fun together? Never, if you’re continuously arguing. Your relationship has devolved into a battleground, which is never fun.
If you feel like you can’t talk about your feelings without starting another quarrel, you’re experiencing too many relationship disputes. Again, communication is critical, and if you can’t talk about what’s bothering you because you’re afraid of getting into a fight, that’s a massive red flag.
When you’re battling, you become quite pessimistic. You begin to focus on the aspects of your relationship that irritate you. Instead, concentrate on the things you enjoy. We all have flaws, but that doesn’t mean we should dwell on them.
A partnership that relies on criticising each other is dangerous. That is an indication of far too many conflicts in your relationship since the air around you has grown toxic. It’s time to sit down and figure out what’s generating all of these squabbles.
