But, when this occurs, one is unaware of it. Everybody has attitudes that have been greatly influenced by their past experiences. Everybody differs from one another in the surroundings they encounter and the people they are inspired by. Everyone’s attitude is therefore formed differently, and everyone appears to behave differently in a given circumstance. In turn, individuals around us are affected by our attitudes. Positivity encourages productivity, enables you to handle any issue successfully, and prevents you from giving up or losing all hope in the face of defeat. Having a bad attitude, however, will have the exact opposite result.

Knowledge: As beings, humans seek order and clarity in our lives. We frequently have a tendency to look for the justification for our actions or the results of those actions. The quantity of work we put in also significantly depends on the anticipated results. Lack of clarity often results in us not giving the activity at hand our whole attention, as opposed to when we have a clear grasp of why we are doing it. Our deeds, or more precisely, our behavior, will differ in both scenarios.

Ego-defensive: This mindset serves as a shield against the unfavorable truths of life that one may be unable or unable to accept. It safeguards us against psychological injury. When a top manager is resisted by a subordinate employee, who despite being in the wrong, may not be willing to accept it. Taking responsibility for their actions could cause psychological distress.

Value-expressive: Our values determine who we are and define who we are. A person’s attitude may be shaped by specific principles that are fundamental to who they are. People will become more passionate about their work and produce greater results if an organization instills in them values that are consistent with the organization’s own.

Instrumental – When there is a financial incentive, this mindset develops. We instantly adopt a favorable attitude towards a task if it is connected to an incentive or reward. Our motivation to receive that incentive or reward is reflected in every action we do while performing our duties. We begin to take everything more seriously and devise creative strategies to successfully attain the prize.
