Must Read: Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s 4 Rules To Success

Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, or A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, was India’s 11th President. He was a scientist who became a statesman, and he was particularly active in aeronautical engineering before becoming India’s President. Due to his efforts in the development of ballistic missile and launch vehicle technologies, Kalam was branded the “Missile Man of India”.

Kalam was elected as the 11th President of the United States and was known as the “People’s President.” He has also earned several notable accolades, including India’s highest civilian honor, the Bharat Ratna.

Kalam has written several books, including India 2020, in which he outlined his strategy for transforming India into a “knowledge superpower” and developed nation. He has made a significant contribution to the people of India and has elevated the country.

Abdul Kalam died in 2015, however his efforts were not in vain, and he left a lasting legacy for India. A sequence of speeches by A. P. J. Abdul Kalam demonstrates how we can all pursue our aspirations and leave our imprint on the world by doing so.

The former President of India, professor, and aerospace engineer discusses the four mantras for success in life in one of his speeches:
1. “I will have a great aim;”
2. “I will continuously acquire knowledge;”
3. “I will do hard work,”
4. “I will persevere and succeed”.”

The famous, late Indian politician and scientist APJ Abdul Kalam begins his address by saying,

“We should know how to handle — not only how to handle success, as well as how to handle failures.”

He explains that in every element of life, one must encounter countless problems. To overcome all hurdles and succeed, instead of making the problem their captain, one must become the captain themselves.

“Those who dare to imagine the impossible are the ones who break all the human limitations… By breaking the limits of their imagination, they change the world,” he says.

He also says “In every field of human endeavor, whether science, medicine, sports, art and technology, the names of the people who imagined the impossible are engraved in our history”. He elucidates his point with the help of geniuses such as CV Raman, Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, and Chandrasekar.

Continue to learn throughout your life and put what you’ve learned to good use as you strive to be your best self. Imagine the unthinkable, make it a reality, and join the ranks of the greats in history. Keep in mind that there are no boundaries to what you can do.

Simply said, work hard at whatever it is you want to show the world, tap into your creativity, and make fresh discoveries to demonstrate your worth. When the time comes, instruct others and assist them in seeing their vision. Give them the information they need to achieve their goals.
