Tips To Shave Your Legs Properly & With Ease

If you want to avoid razor burns or skin irritation, here are the ways you can shave your legs properly and easily

Step 1 – Use a sharp razor

If your razor blade forces your body hair or senses rough on your skin, it’s time for an alternate. Trying a dull blade to shave raises the possibility of getting skin irritation and razor burn. So if you use a sharp blade, shaving can be done smoothly.

Step 2 – Hydrate your legs before shaving

If your legs are not properly hydrated the shaving will be more difficult, increasing probabilities of irritating your skin, cuts, and razor burn. Shaving dry hair may result to dull down your blade sooner.

Step 3 – Use shaving gel

After hydrating, apply shaving gel and put it evenly all over your legs. Utilizing shave gel keeps moisture and enables the razor blade to work more easily on your skin.

Step 4 – Shave in the direction of the hair growth

Starting at your ankle, gradually and carefully shave upward. An upward shave assures you’re shaving in the direction of hair growth. You should not press hard, doing this can cause dimples or marks on your skin, which can lead to cuts or allergies.

Step 5 – Wash your razer

After some strokes, the razor will be filled with both shaving gel and hairs. Wash it off with clean, mild water and proceed with the shaving.

Step 6 – Rinse your legs

Once you have finished shaving all the hairs on your legs, wash the legs and move your hands on your legs to be sure you didn’t forget any areas.

Step 7 – Dry and moisturize your legs

After drying your legs, apply some moisturizer or lotion to hydrate your legs, applying lotion will avoid red spots on your legs.
