Consider all of the various outcomes and decide what your best- and worst-case scenarios would be. Another effective method is to recall the last time you were confronted with a significant shift and successfully navigated it. It’s not always as horrible as it appears at first, and it may just take some time to adjust.

You can still phone and write to those people, and you can schedule a visit!
