As humans, we have a tendency to be caught up in constantly wanting more, always desiring for the things we don’t have. As bad as it is for our mental health, it also makes us feel unfulfilled and unhappy. We don’t always appreciate and love the things we have until it’s too late.

That is why loving what you have and appreciating it while you still have it is important. Because when we fail to do it, we end up regretting it after it is gone.

We frequently take for granted the very things for which we should be grateful. This is something we do with both people and things. The issue is that many people are unaware of this until the moment has passed.

On a daily basis, we take things for granted, assuming that they will be available whenever we need them. Many things have a true value that we do not recognize until they are no longer present in our life. Happiness is a result of recognizing and appreciating what you already have, rather than chasing after what you don’t have.

What you have now is what you aspired to have previously. So appreciate it because you have it. Appreciate and love whatever you have since you never know when your time will come to an end. Clear your head of clutter and appreciate what you have right now. Don’t wait until you’ve lost it to realize how much you relied on it.

People are always looking for something new, yet sometimes the most valuable things are the things that have always been with us. Just because something isn’t happening right now doesn’t imply it won’t happen in the future. Those who do not appreciate what they already have will never be happy.

You don’t realize what you have until it’s gone, and you don’t realize what you’ve been missing until it shows up.
