Ever encountered a rude person? A rude person is an offensively impolite or bad-mannered person. It is one of the human’s nature, which makes a person talk offensively to almost everyone encountering them. Being rude can affect your overall personality, productivity, emotions and health. Rudeness affects health and wellbeing because it’s emotionally upsetting how a person can be so offensive and ill-mannered. No one likes being cut off or bump while they talk. Rudeness can affect your overall happiness; such behaviour instigates the self-perpetuating cycle of negative behaviour which hampers happiness in the long run.

Your happiness sometimes depends on another person’s behaviour as well. If you encounter rudeness in some other person’s behaviour that might affect your happiness. You might instantly feel degraded and demotivated by their talks. We ourselves must make sure that you are not hampering some other person’s happiness. How people treat others or behave with others is a direct image of how they feel about themselves. Rudeness should not be in our behaviour as it can make your self-esteem and confidence to lower down and you might constantly feel unhappy and unsatisfied. Always try to avoid rudeness to avoid such degradation.

If you ever behave poorly or hurt someone with your words and action, it is possible that you won’t feel anything at that moment, but later on, when you think about it, you start regretting your actions. You wish that you had been nicer to the person. You also realize that you have made someone hate you since you were rude to them. And everybody hates it when someone despises us. This is how being rude and ill-mannered affects our happiness. This is why we are taught to be kind and generous and show compassion to everyone around us. Because being nice is what gives you real happiness.
