Ways To Make Your Inner Voice Work With You And Not Against You

Our inner voice, according to the definition, is the ability to understand something without the use of conscious reasoning. Your inner voice is a quiet, little voice that exists to assist you in guiding and directing your life. Inner voices, on the other hand, aren’t always correct. They can be egotistical and not think about what is best for us in the long run. Our inner voices are more like a gang of selfish and negative voices pretending to be important by yelling loud in our heads.

The composition of our inner voice is determined by our circumstances, upbringing, and surroundings. However, if you use it to your advantage rather than against you, it can assist you and bring you mental peace and happiness.

Here are some ways to make your inner voice work with you and not against you.

1. Listen carefully

Pay attention to what your inner voices are trying to tell you and identify the voices that arise. Active listening is letting go of judgment and the urge to respond, and really tuning in to what your inner voice is saying. We gain the ability to listen to ourselves when we practice listening to others. And this is exactly what we need to do to hear your inner voice and follow the advice it has to provide.

2. Movement

Movement can assist you in tuning in to your body’s wisdom. Any brisk movement (dance, running, walking, swimming, etc.) clears your mind’s noise, allowing you to listen to your inner voice more clearly.

3. Journal your thoughts

Journal all your thoughts. Write down everything that comes to mind. Refrain from editing or judging. Make a list of all of your ideas, dreams, and possibilities. If you do this on a regular basis, you will feel closer to your genuine self. This will help you see things more clearly.
