1. Stop putting yourself down by not smiling at your face

2. Surround yourself with happy people

If you are upset then a pure dose for it is surrounding yourself with people who are always happy. When you come in contact with such people, you end up being happy and you forget your sadness. As you know happiness is contagious, so it goes on spreading.

3. Be grateful for whatever you have

Thinking about things you don’t have or you are not able to accomplish only leads to sadness. Instead, be thankful for what you already have.

4. Share your thoughts with your close one’s

If you are upset about something, instead of continuously thinking about it and keeping it in your mind, go to your close ones and talk about your feelings to them.

Be clear to them about whatever is bothering you. The more you talk, the more you lessen your burden and sadness.

5. Eat your favorite food

Food always has a special place in everyone’s heart. Like who doesn’t love food? Of course, everyone loves it. So if you are a huge foodie then go and eat your favorite food, eat how much ever you desire, there is no one to stop you. Eating food will surely make you happy.
