The traditional hot chocolate is the only beverage that can be considered a proper winter classic. Anybody who claims differently hasn’t tried the appropriate one. It’s like a warm embrace in a cup, the ideal remedy to a chilly, misty winter evening.

The key is to indulge in high materials and since you don’t consume it every day, spend as much as possible.

Decent quality dark chocolate has a rich texture due to the cocoa butter concentration. When cocoa powder is added, the hot chocolate takes on a whole new flavor and substance. Last but certainly not least, a dab of vanilla adds lovely caramel undertones to the mix.

Ingredient

1. 2 cups of milk

2. A third of a cup of 70% bittersweet chocolate chips ,If you really want to add even more, go ahead.

3. Cocoa powder, 2 tbsp.

4. 3 tsp. sugar (refined)

5. 3/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder

6. 1.5 teaspoon extract de vanilla

Recipe

1. Blend milk, cocoa powder, and chocolate chunks in a medium skillet. Make sure they are perfectly combined.

2. On low flame, bring it to a gradual boil, tossing constantly. Completely melt the chocolate mixture into a smooth consistency

3. Remove the pan from the stove, and then stir in the sugar, cinnamon powder, and vanilla essence. Check and tweak the sweetness as needed.

4. Slowly pour into glasses and end up serving plain or with marshmallows and cocoa powder sprinkled over top. Serve it hot and enjoy it with your family.
