Ritesh Agarwal is an Indian entrepreneur and the Founder and CEO of OYO Rooms. He is recognized as the second youngest billionaire in 2021 in India.
Agarwal has also received the Business World Young Entrepreneur Award.

Ritesh appears from a family that used to run a small shop in the Southern region of Orissa.
At the age of 13, Ritesh began selling SIM cards. He passed from St. Johns Senior Secondary School and shifted to Delhi in 2011 for university.

Studying for his engineering entrance exams in Kota, Ritesh felt from the start that the college was not for him. More than his books, he was amused by the young and enterprising world beside him. He would sneak out for Delhi from Kota every weekend to address entrepreneurs.

Agarwal began a budget accommodation outlet, Oravel Stays, for booking budget hotels. In September 2012 It was approved into the accelerator program by Venture Nursery, and later was one of the winners of the 2013 Thiel Fellowship program, obtaining an award of $100,000.
The corporation was introduced as OYO Rooms in May 2013.

According to Wikipedia, the company raised $1 billion by September 2018, In July 2019, it was reported that Agarwal bought $2 billion in shares in the corporation, tripling his stake.

His net wealth in 2020 was totaled to be almost $1.1 billion as per the Hurun Rich List 2020. In February 2020, he is the second-youngest self-made billionaire in the whole world after Kylie Jenner.
He is registered in the Forbes 30 under 30 list for Asia.
