Hepatitis A is an inflammation of the liver affected by the hepatitis A virus (HAV). 3. Avoid alcohol and use medications with care

Your liver may have trouble processing medications and alcohol. If you have hepatitis, don’t consume alcohol. It can result in more liver damage. Speak to your doctor about all the medications you take.
