GO SLOWLY

Try slowing down instead of attempting to figure out how to clear your mind. The first thing we want to do when something bothers us is to get rid of it as soon as possible. To find solutions to get rid of the annoying clutter, we fill our thoughts with more clutter. Sometimes all you need to do is physically slow down for the thoughts racing through your head to slow down as well. This allows your brain to organically clear out the mental clutter. You could find it easier to find the answer you’re seeking if your head has more space.

PRIORITIZE

If you want to declutter your thoughts, you must be clear about what you desire. Make a list of the top three things that are most important to you right now. Put the most critical item at the top of the list. Is it about the money, the health, or the family? Let’s pretend your health is your top priority right now. Write down what you need to do to achieve it in this category. When you know what you want to do, you’ll be able to concentrate on the most critical tasks, which will help you clear your mind.

SAY NO

After you’ve figured out what you want, you can start setting up boundaries to keep fresh junk out of your head. Saying yes when you truly mean is not only bad for you, but it’s also bad for the other person. When you commit to something you don’t want to do, you may build animosity toward the other person. No one benefits from that nasty energy. On the other hand, you might be fearful of upsetting the other person if you say no. When you say no, you may undoubtedly feel horrible at first, but you will no longer be surrounded by negative energy. Saying no means getting rid of the clutter in your life and saying yes to the things that are important to you.
